Your Impact

The Workplace Applications Engineering team manages a wide array of products which are used by every employee at the firm. E-mail is a critical piece of how we do business, and we’re looking for someone to join the team that is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the e-mail infrastructure at the firm. This ranges from designing and implementing highly available systems to serving as the final point of escalation for business critical issues within our products.

How will you fulfill your potential?

Engineer and implement solutions in coordination with global, cross-functional teamsAssist during incidents and act as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd level support teamsBeing on-call 12x7, once a quarter (Schedule subject to change)

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience working within an enterprise environment as an infrastructure engineer or operations roleExperience with Microsoft and/or Linux servers and servicesExperience with Proofpoint Protection Server, Sendmail (either Open Source or Sentrion), or similar open source softwareModerate (or higher) development experience with at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python or BashFamiliarity with git workflows and/or Infrastructure as Code methodologiesIntermediate to advanced knowledge of modern networking technologies and how they operate (switches, routers, firewalls, etc)Strong communication skills, transparency, and ownershipStrong problem solving skills coupled with quick learning in a fast-paced environmentExperience with change and incident management processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with administering modern versions of Microsoft ExchangeExperience with integrating M365 based offerings into complex environmentsExperience with Data Loss Prevention solutions including Microsoft Purview Information ProtectionExperience with system automationExperience with working in large, heavily regulated organizations
