**What you’ll do:**
The Digital Workplace and Collaboration Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day service operations of a distributed team that leads end-user technology and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365, Office 365, and related solutions. The role requires technical leadership and deep expertise in digital workplace technologies, ensuring a secure, efficient, and user-centric IT environment.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate planning and development of Digital Workplace and Collaboration Services to align with business goals. Define and implement a long-term workplace modernisation strategy, promoting a digital experience. Drive innovation and technology adoption to keep workplace solutions ahead of trends.
+ Handle security, governance, and compliance, implement controls, and align platform security with policies and standards.
+ Ensure workplace technologies are highly available, reliable, and performant. Manage incidents, handle escalations, and proactively resolve issues to minimise disruptions. Monitor SLAs and critical metrics and implement ITIL standard processes for continuous service improvements.
+ Plan, develop, and optimise technical architecture and infrastructure for digital workplaces. Use lean methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
+ Lead a high-performing technical team, promoting collaboration and excellence, handling budgets and working with collaborators to align Digital Workplace and Collaboration Services with business needs.
**What you’ll need:**
+ Demonstrable experience in IT Infrastructure and similar roles, this position involves leading all aspects of global digital workplace operations, ensuring collaboration
+ Proven experience running multi-cultural technical teams. The manager leads critical initiatives to enhance efficiency, improve service delivery, and implement secure, scalable digital workplace solutions across a diverse enterprise environment.
+ Extensive experience in Digital Workplace, Collaboration Services, Microsoft 365, Cloud Collaboration Technologies (Azure AD, Intune, Entra), SCCM, Windows 11, and Security Best Practices. Solid understanding of Enterprise Mobility & Device Management (Windows Autopilot, Endpoint Management).
+ Understanding of Infrastructure Architecture, including frameworks and principles on which storage, systems, equipment, and resources are based, both on-premises and cloud-based.
+ Expertise in security best practices, governance, and compliance frameworks. Proficient in methods and techniques for risk management, business impact analysis, countermeasures.
+ Experience with Azure, Microsoft Servers & Endpoints, AWS (highly desirable).
+ ITIL Certification (highly desirable).
+ Master's Degree or equivalent experience
