The Digital Web Specialist II is a key member of the Web Operations team, supporting the strategic execution of sutterhealth.org’s consumer experience. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining content across the site to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with user journey goals. The specialist collaborates closely with content strategy, marketing, and development teams to bring digital initiatives to life—optimizing page structures, surfacing key information, and ensuring users can easily navigate to the care, tools, and services they need.Responsibilities include CMS updates, SEO-focused enhancements, sitewide content improvements, and page builds that support campaign and service line priorities. The specialist also plays a vital role in crisis communications—helping to rapidly deploy updates during emergencies or urgent situations across key areas of the site. This position is instrumental in driving discoverability, usability, and trust, ensuring Sutter’s online presence reflects our brand, meets consumer expectations, and supports business goals.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCETYPICAL:
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Proven understanding of ADA and familiarity with industry accessibility tools.
Proficient user MS office skills, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint as well as analytical skills
Advanced user of Content Management System, preferably Site Core XM Cloud
Familiarity with the following software/languages: Programming Languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS), MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver), Analytic tools (Amplitude, WebTrends, other), Other (Jira, SiteImprove, Axure) Intermediate.
Proficient at understanding business requirements and translating them into solutions
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Proven project management skills with ability to effectively prioritize projects in a rapidly changing environment
Demonstrates high attention to detail and problem solving skills
Proven strength in collaboration with a mind for exceptional customer service

Pay Range is $37.68 to $56.52 / hour. New Jersey Pay Range is $37.68 to $56.52 / hour.The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
