Digital & Tech Senior Manager SAP Technology-Basis

Location: Barcelona, Spain

 

We are looking for a Digital and Tech Senior Manager SAP – Technology- Basis to join our dsm-firmenich Digital and Technology department. Within the SAP COE Cluster, you will:

Steer the technical evolution of our SAP landscape (S/4HANA, ECC, GTS, BW4, SAP BTP ….)Ensure world class operations across Data centers (incl. RISE)Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security and Infrastructure to deliver compliant TAM servicesDeliver a performant platform to power our transformation journey

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the SAP Basis team, providing technical direction, mentoring, and performance managementManage relationships with SAP support and secure services management delivered by third party partners.Oversee the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of all SAP systems (incl. S/4HANA, SAP ECC, HANA DB, and supporting tools).Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and ensure high system availability, performance and compliance in collaboration with Digital Foundation and Operations infrastructure and cyber security teamsWork with Platform /Product teams to support delivery of integration projects.Stay current with SAP technology roadmap and propose strategic improvements to the SAP environment.

 

You Bring:

10+ years of experience in SAP Platforms, SAP Technologies, SAP Databases & Cloud Platforms administration with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in managing SAP systems with complex infrastructure set up (Multiple Data Centres & Cloud providers).S4HANA experience on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, RISE) or hybrid environments.Solid know-how of SAP Technologies and knowledge of technical architecture principlesExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management capabilities, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, lead and keep cross-team initiatives moving
