Lead an internal team to develop and implement digital solutions required by customers on next generation programsSupport all digital requirements of the cross-functional Integrated Product Support teamServe as the subject matter expert for the development of Model Based Sustainment / Model Based Product Support capabilitiesEnsure Model Based Sustainment / Model Based Product Support capabilities integrate into the Model Based Enterprise framework and enable the customer to realize maximum valueLead the integration and data exchange among multiple Department of Defense, Airframer, and GE Aerospace digital and IT systems to support customer requirementsPartner with GE Digital Technology teams to align digital Integrated Product Support strategies with business priorities and fundingWork collaboratively across multiple organizations, including Reliability Engineering, Maintainability Engineering, Supportability Engineering and Product Support teams to identify software capabilities required to meet customer defined scope and deliverablesDevelop standard processes and standard work across multiple Edison Works programsDerive functional requirements from internal and external stakeholders, assess technical documentation, build use case definitions, and drive priority with cross-functional teamsIdentify requirement gaps and process shortfalls and take initiative to solve problemsPerform daily, weekly and monthly management oversight utilizing GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK (GE’s Proprietary Lean Operating Model) principles to drive team progress and achieve defined program milestones and objectivesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 5 years of experience with IT requirements definition, implementation, and integration within a business enterprise (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years experience with IT requirements definition, implementation, and integration within a business enterprise.Ability to develop strategies, action plans, and processes with minimum oversight in order to support a customer-driven digital integrated product support strategyMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience with IT requirements definition, implementation, and integration within a business enterpriseThis role is restricted to U.S. CitizensMust have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret ClearanceAbility to work full-time, on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH; due to security requirements there are very limited work from home or remote opportunitiesDesired Characteristics
Familiarity with Model Based Enterprises, Model Based Systems Engineering and Systems Modelling tools, such as the SysML Cameo software suiteMaster’s degree from an accredited college or universityPrior experience working in the Aviation IndustryA minimum of 4 years of military or DoD related industry experienceStrong understanding of U.S. military organizations, maintenance and sustainment processes and procedures, and the DoD’s Integrated Product Support elementsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external customersDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projectsCurrent / Active US Secret security clearanceHumble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborativeProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinkerThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
