Your job mission:

 

The Digital Strategy Manager (m/f/d is part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team and acts as a link between business and JTI Global IT teams to ensure business can meet established objectives.

The post holder will play a key role in the implementation and further development of digital systems within the Quality Assurance (QA) organization. As part of this role, the post holder will be responsible for the rollout of new QA digital systems, ensuring their validation, and regulatory compliance. In addition, the role includes enabling data-driven decision-making by developing and implementing advanced analytics initiatives. Additionally, the role will contribute to shaping a forward-looking digitalization roadmap. Strong communication skills are essential, as the position involves actively supporting change processes, aligning transparently with cross-functional stakeholders, and promoting the adoption and effective use of new digital solutions across the organization.

Your tasks

Digital System Implementation: Manage the implementation of new QA digital systems, including business case development, stakeholder alignment, and project management across QA and D&IT teams. System Governance & Lifecycle Management: Oversee system validation, upgrades, and change control processes to ensure compliance throughout the digital system lifecycle. Coordinate with vendors, QA functions, and IT teams to manage the maintenance, and continuous improvement of QA digital systems Data Analytics & Insights: Drive QA data analytics initiatives by collecting requirements, building business cases, leading implementations with D&IT, and supporting insight generation through  conducting hands-on analysis and stakeholder training. Strategic Roadmap Development: Contribute to the digital strategy and roadmap planning by identifying improvement areas, proposing initiatives, and assisting in the evaluation and prioritization of technology solutions in collaboration with QA and Digital Strategy leadership Change Management and Communication: Enable cross-functional alignment of QA digital initiatives by connecting business and technical teams, facilitating communication and leading change enablement through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

 

 

Your profile:

Relevant educational background: University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent Practical experience: Several years of experience in digital system implementation, data analytics, or digital program management, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g. consumer goods, pharma, food, or life sciences). Experience managing cross-functional projects involving IT and business stakeholders. Valuable knowledge: Strong understanding of digital system lifecycle management, including validation, upgrades, and change control. Solid data literacy and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI); familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus. Special strengths: Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes such as CAPA, deviations, document control, or training systems is considered as an advantage. Fluent in English (written and spoken), other languages considered as an advantage. Suitable personality: Proven ability to work with both IT and business stakeholders, with excellent communication and facilitation skills. Practiced working time model: Possibility of 50% mobile office work within Germany on a monthly basis
