As a **Digital Solution Area Specialist,** you’ll play a key role in helping Microsoft’s **Enterprise** customers accelerate their adoption of Azure **Cloud and AI** technologies. You’ll manage a defined sales territory of named Enterprise accounts, driving engagement and usage across the full Azure portfolio.
This is a digital sales role focused on U.S.-based customers. Your success will depend on your ability to lead impactful business and technical conversations, uncover customer needs, and position Azure Cloud and AI solutions that deliver measurable value.
You’ll collaborate with Microsoft technical experts, account teams, and trusted delivery partners to ensure customers maximize the value of their Microsoft technology investments.
As a member of the Digital Enterprise Sales (DES) team within Microsoft’s Global Enterprise Sales (GES) organization, you’ll operate in a global, digital-first, partner-aligned environment. Your mission is to help customers solve challenges, improve efficiency, and drive innovation by harnessing the full power of the Microsoft Cloud.
This role is based in Las Colinas, TX; Atlanta, GA;Fargo, ND; Charlotte, NC;Raleigh ,NC; Austin ,TX ;Phoenix,AZ or Redmond,WA with flexible work options allowing up to 50% work from home.

**Responsibilities**
**Drive Revenue Growth**
Own Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR) targets for your named Enterprise accounts, delivering against quarterly and annual targets.
**Lead Technical Sales Engagements**
Show how Microsoft Azure Cloud and AI solutions can address customer business and technical needs. You’ll personally deliver technical demos, lead design sessions, and answer questions for core Azure workloads. For more advanced or specialized scenarios, you’ll coordinate with Microsoft technical experts and trusted delivery partners to ensure customers receive the right expertise and support. Every engagement is focused on helping customers realize tangible value from Azure.
**Coordinate with Sales Teams**
Lead the Azure Cloud and AI sales motion in collaboration with the broader account team. Work closely with Account Executives and Specialists across Microsoft’s solution areas—including AI Business Solutions and Security—to align efforts and maximize impact. Partner with Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, and others to support customer success.
**Engage Microsoft’s Partner Ecosystem**
Scale your impact by working with key Microsoft partners. You will introduce customers to trusted partners and coordinate joint sales activities, as partners are central to delivering Microsoft Azure Cloud and AI solutions.
**Manage Stakeholders**
Build relationships with internal stakeholders and actively participate in the Rhythm of Business (ROB) for your territory. Provide updates on status, needs, and forecasts. Collaborate on deal structures, escalations, and broader sales coordination.

**Qualifications**
**Required/minimum qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 3+ years of cloud-related technical sales or account management experience OR 4+ years of cloud-related technical sales or account management experience.
+ 1+ year(s) of technical or sales experience with Azure, OpenAI, SQL Server, Fabric and/or related data tools, or related experience.
**Additional or preferred qualifications**
+ 2+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience.
+ 1+ years of Micrososft sales program expereince.
Digital Solution Area Specialists IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $30.53 - $64.62 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $48.37 - $69.18 per hour.
