Supply Chain management
Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies to ensure the timely, cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant procurement of goods and services. Oversees the supplier selection, including vetting, contracting and performance monitoring with a focus on accountability, transparency and value for money.Market analysis: Conduct regular market assessments to identify trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier capabilities. Use insights to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that ensure value for money, supplier diversity, and long-term procurement sustainability.Coordinate demand forecasting, operations – planning (this is the new terminology, since the one in charge of the planning process is programs/operations) and logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to program and project sites.Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of inventory control and fixed asset management systems according to organizational policies and procedures in the areas of, but not limited to, warehousing and fleet management. This is to avoid losses and ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and staff, respectively.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full adherence to internal policies and donor regulations, while proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks in both emergency response and routine operations.Data, Systems, and Reporting: Leverage digital tools for real-time tracking, data analysis, and reporting to support decision-making and transparency.30%
Digital solutions and ICT Leadership
Advise and support the National Office on strategic issues related to digital systems and platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational needs, and global standards.Oversee the integration and performance of ICT functions, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across all departments.Provide guidance and implement digital solutions initiatives from the Global Centre and internal stakeholders to enhance stewardship, drive innovation, and improve impact for children, communities, and partners.Identify gaps and opportunities in digital systems for internal operations and external engagement, including donors and partners, and collaborate with function leads to design and implement effective solutions.Ensure the successful execution of Digital Solutions and ICT business plans and performance targets, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and oversee the regular maintenance, security, and reliability of digital systems and infrastructure to safeguard organizational data and ensure uninterrupted operations.Identify and manage risks associated with ICT infrastructure and digital solutions, including data security, system reliability, and technology adoption, ensuring proactive Security and Risk plans are in place to protect organizational operations and stakeholder trust.20%
Leadership and Staff management:
Represent the Supply chain and Digital solutions team in Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, actively contributing to strategic decision-making while modelling full alignment with World Vision’s mission, core values, and the Covenant of Partnership. Serve as a role model in living out the Witness to Jesus Christ policy, demonstrating Christ-centered leadership to the SC and DS team and the wider staff community.Provide strategic direction, coaching, and technical support to RD staff, ensuring high performance and professional growth.Build team capacity in funding acquisition and donor engagement, in collaboration with People & Culture, through structured development plans and on-the-job coaching.Promote staff well-being and psychological safety by recognizing and addressing emotional and spiritual needs, in collaboration with the People & Culture senior lead, to ensure a supportive and nurturing work environment.Identify and address capacity gaps in supply chain and digital dexterity within the team and across the National Office, and lead efficient team planning to maximize talent and impact.Participate in national and regional capacity-building initiatives to strengthen leadership and technical capabilities.15%
Internal and External Liaison and Coordination
Serve as the strategic liaison and primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the Supply Chain and Digital Solutions functions.Cultivate and sustain effective working relationships with Support Offices, Global Centre (GC), and Regional Offices to facilitate alignment and operational efficiency in supply chain and information systems initiatives.Engage proactively with external partners including vendors, NGOs, international organizations (e.g., UN agencies, donors and partners), and private donors to support programmatic and operational needs.Foster strong cross-functional collaboration within World Vision Mongolia (WVM), by maintaining consistent engagement with field managers, project managers, and other departments to ensure shared accountability to achieve high levels of service effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.5 %
Other responsibilities
