Kent is recruiting a Digital Publishing & Community Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term basis working within Kent’s global corporate communications team.

About the Job:

You will be responsible for the management of all of Kent’s online external channels including our social media platforms and website. You will own the implementation of our publishing strategy, focusing on growing our online community and strengthening the visibility and reputation of our brand. This is a global role which reports to Kent’s Global External Communications Director.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Publish content across our social media channels and website, including proofreading and editing ahead of publishing posts – daily activityManage and engage our online community using our existing community management guidelines and approach – daily activityManage Kent’s website by uploading new content, creating new webpages and editing existing webpagesCollaborate closely with the wider external communications team to ensure seamless execution of our content and publishing plansTrack audience data and generate social media community management reportsUnderstand business and communication goals and update our community management approach accordinglyConduct a quarterly review of our community management guidelines to ensure our approach supports our communication objectivesReport on the latest social media and industry trends to support Kent’s continuously growing external presenceConduct market research to support Kent’s communication and marketing strategyCreation of company Spotify playlists based on business, industry or world eventsSupport the development of content plans and content when requestedManage and update project planning files, SharePoint and MS Planner to support team coordination and project managementWork proactively, with limited supervisionIndependently with key business stakeholders at all levelsRecognise when to ask for further guidance and supportCollaborate effectively with other team membersBe able to interpret evidence-based research and incorporate this into your workUnderstand how to effectively support the growth of Kent’s online presenceBe knowledgeable of social media channels and management tools, such as Falcon.io or Brandwatch

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in media, communications, marketing, or a similar fieldProficiency in MS Office

Communication:

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English with a commitment to understand the Kent Tone of VoiceFluency in at least one more language is a bonus, preferably Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Kazakh, Spanish or Dutch

Behaviour/ Core Competencies:

Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated excellence in research, organisational, and time management skillsAbility to collaborate within the team and cross-functionallyHigh levels of confidence in communications at all levelsUnderstanding of social media platforms and the online communications landscapeUnderstanding of the PR and media field, experience in this area is a bonus
