Location: Deerfield, IllinoisJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $35 - 40 per hourThe International Communications team is seeking a Marketing Contractor to support various activities aimed at driving acceptance, volume, and issuance growth for our global payment network (Discover Network, Diners Club International, and network alliance cards). This individual will work closely with the team to assist in updating and creating new marketing materials and value propositions, undertake marketing-related projects and support programs that drive international merchant acceptance and issuer volume globally.Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and updated sales support and other marketing collateral and presentations. Create, customize and update PowerPoint presentations for client-facing and internal teams that interact with acquirers, merchants, and issuers. Support team in development of communications and messaging for internal and external audiences, including documentation of final files in a repository. Liaise with agencies on creation or enhancement of marketing materials including presentations, sales materials and other collateral forms as needed. Work with brand and legal teams to obtain approval for marketing collateral/presentations, etc. Experience with pulling data in Tableau or similar software and working with the data to help create a story. Support efforts to create and maintain an online travel guide that connects our current cardholders to where they can use their card in key tourist areas around the world. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with some B2B financial marketing experience preferred. Experience in creative development for B2B marketing materials and agency management. Ability to research topics and data to integrate the results into the current projects. Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously across a team. Comfortable working through new situations. Flexibility to undertake various marketing related tasks based on business needs. Exposure to or background in international marketing, communications and/or business preferred. Experience in creative development for B2B marketing materials and agency management. Proficient in PowerPoint e.g. skilled at telling a compelling story visually and through messaging. Proficient in Excel. Must Have 4+ years experience in Project Management.
