Digital Project Manager

Role Overview

The Digital Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of the vision around how our customers will purchase / self-serve online. Chubb’s digital platforms allow our customers to purchase, access and manage their policies in one place, update personal and payment information and make an end-to-end claim without the need to call. 

In this role, you will be working with teams with a range of multi-disciplinary skills to deliver digital solutions that combine insurance product, technology, and front-end user experience for Chubb across Asia Pacific.

The Digital Project Manager would manage the support and development teams and work with our business stakeholders – as such, we’re looking for someone with strong communication skills to manage our Digital delivery across sales and service platforms. You will bring different members of the business together to make sure we’re always finding new ways to build the best platforms and solution possible to meet the demanding needs of our customers.

The Digital Project Manager will also have a matrix reporting to to Head of Life Partnerships.

 

Main Responsibilities

Be the single point of accountability person for end-to-end digital delivery of Digital programs / rollout of Digital Platforms (Chubb Studio and related solutions) for identified industry partners in the APAC region  Manage projects / programs of varying complexity and partner requirements – from Studio solutions to bespoke solutions leveraging Studio components (across API’s, Microsites and others)  Develop and manage strong relationships with partner digital & technology teams and drive Chubb’s agenda with the teams Oversee and ensure alignment between technology enablement efforts and business requirements. Manage multiple squads across partner (both strategic & opportunistic) segments Represent Chubb Digital in partner conversations and workshops, articulating both technical and business process considerations Work with the Business Development (BD) teams to provide comprehensive digital solutions as part of the business development phase  Work with account / partner managers in building a business case for digital governance  Manage end-to-end delivery pipeline and be responsible for identifying potential risks, bottleneck to project delivery

 

Delivery Goals

Responsible for understanding, overseeing and defending the solution concept and experience that has been planned - approving and participating in the creation of solutions to problems and unforeseen circumstances that may appear during execution phases Deliver Projects/Programs per plan, scope and budget, ensuring adoption of expected processes and standards  Ensure high quality deliverables across the entire delivery spectrum, from documentation & plans through to system capability, performance and operational readiness Identify risks and dependencies across Chubb’s business functions to ensure a smooth and timely delivery Provide clarity and direction to the agile delivery teams (scrum masters, business analysts, designers, developers) to facilitate regular sprint planning and prioritization  Work with the various digital team(s) to ensure that the delivery adheres with Chubb’s Digital Architecture and Information Security standards  Prepare governance reports on project / portfolio health to be presented to regional and global leadership  Responsible for Platform Service Delivery that includes - Post launch support across sales platforms and manage platform performance and security 7 – 12 years of overall experience with at least 3 – 5 years of experience in a role responsible in a role responsible for end-to-end delivery of high-performance web-based platform or a mobile app Experience working in a regional role collaborating with multiple countries for solution definition & delivery  Experience working with different partners across countries in delivering capabilities that allow to distribute products in the partner ecosystem Good understanding of insurance products including product features (coverages, riders, terms & conditions) and their related sales, service (including claims etc) journeys is preferred, with a focus on optimizing these journeys end-to-end Experience using platforms such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Service Now is preferred  Exposure to API specifications / documentation and work with stakeholders to provide for a seamless integration experience Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of common application software Certified Agile Scrum Product Owner with experience in educating on and delivering using Agile Scrum methodologies would be advantageous Ability to quickly assimilate technical and business information into clearly defined deliverables Highly effective in problem-solving and creative solutions Strong team player with excellent organization, communication and coordination skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative business environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
