About the Role

Responsible for leading the Digital Compliance and Privacy activities across the company, incorporating best practices. This position is instrumental in maintaining all activities around Internal Compliance, TISAX compliance and data privacy aspects related to data subject access requests as well as running security & privacy impact assessments. Harman has a global footprint of engineering and manufacturing sites with various jurisdictions, which require internal and external industry as well as regulatory compliance.


Your Team

This position will report to the Director Digital Security Engineering. The role is responsible for a team of 4 FTEs.


What You Will Do

Responsible for Digital Compliance and Privacy activities across the company.Manage ISO 27001 and TISAX audits, support on the customer compliance requests and other external and internal audits.Operationally handle incoming Security & Privacy requests and data subject access requests globally.Regularly audit the Harman environment (web sites, applications…) to make sure we stay compliant with the regulations and we correctly protect the dataset containing PII.Maintain the internal IT controls to continuously achieve compliance.Manage and maintain the Security policies and procedure documents.

What You Need to Be Successful

5-8 years of experience on Cyber Security or Compliance in a global footprintAudit background around TISAX or ISO 27001Solid experience on data privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing and speakingAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environmentVery good communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus Points if You Have

Industry certifications related to compliance or information security (CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementator or Lead Auditor)Basic experience on networking and Cloud securityProject Management Experience

What Makes You Eligible

Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic only OR domestic and international travelSuccessfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Salary Ranges:

$ 105,000 - $ 154,000
