Digital Portfolio Sales Director

Jeppesen is seeking a Digital Portfolio Sales Director who will be responsible for planning, developing and managing competitive sales campaigns across Europe. Location: London, UK.

The role:

This position will be instrumental with proactively executing sales and delivery activities to customers within the assigned region.

The role will be hybrid working with an expectation to be onsite 1-2 days per week when not visiting clients. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Please note the role is not an executive role but individual contributor.

Responsibilities:

Drive sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers' needs in a consultative mannerCraft campaign specific strategies, procure resources and secure management commitment to ensure successful executionCreate metrics to monitor campaign project status and budget requirementsInitiate, maintains and advance customer relationships and work to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customerEstablish, maintain and expand network to address customer needs and keep lines of communication openDevelop customer solutions by coordinating and integrating with internal and external processes and divisions to provide a competitive advantage and to foster business growth with acceptable marginsIdentify future business opportunities and promote the value of Boeing portfolio and partnershipDevelop strong relationships within Jeppesen with the aim to partner, engage, pursue, and win new business with new and existing customersLead preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensures correct members and resources are included in the teamRecommend alternative means of compliance to customer requestsReview and contribute to the final draft materialsChallenge recommended scope and cost to ensure compliance and competitiveness.Lead negotiations and finalize commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencersLeverage detailed understanding of both customer and Jeppesen needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integrationObtain commitment within parameters approved by managementCoordinate packaging of Jeppesen and Industry products and knowledge into complete solutions that meets customer needsLeverage company resources by building and leading a capture team to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of multiple Digital and Jeppesen products and services, process and operations and resourcesLead the approval process by advocating the customer requirements and selling the business case to management to ensure quality deal.  Balances the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)

Required Qualifications:

Proven track record as a successful customer facing professional with strong experience working within Sales & MarketingPrior experience interfacing with senior executive leadershipAbility to quickly build credibility and trust with customersPrior experience managing competitive domestic or international sales campaignsCommercial acumen with an understanding of how to create mutual benefits for both customer and businessCompetent in Microsoft Office and SalesForce.comPrior experience across technology sales/data systems advantageous particularly in the aviation industry ( commercial airlines )Academic degree (Bachelors or equivalent required)Language: Fluent in English in speaking and writingWillingness to travel

Languages: Fluent in Spanish or FrenchSalesforce

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Work Authorization:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the UK. Jeppesen will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level.
