As the **LEDP platform functional lead** , you will play a critical role in driving the implementation and management of Sanofi's M&S Launches activities, in order to secure and our futures Sanofi new products Launches. **About the job** The LEDP Functional Lead is responsible for the capture, analysis and harmonization of business requests, and the determination of the best method to overcome business problems using the 3DExperience platform. This includes the selection of the most relevant 3DExperience components, the mapping of the data business model to 3DExperience objects and the definition of workflows and lifecycle of the 3DExperience objects. LEDP is critical to build the data continuity between the CMC and Launch units, it will enable paperless tech transfers and will serve as a foundation for other digital tools such as Launch readiness Control tower, One click TT, One click Dossier, Integrated Collaborative Scheduling and others. It is a functional leadership role, requiring business acumen, deep 3DExperience knowledge and strong experience in PLM solution implementation, with direct interface with the Business representatives (incl. Business Process Owners, Business System Owners), the Product Owners, the LEDP Technical Lead, the Launch Engine PMO and the Software Provider. The LEDP Functional Lead manages an internal team of Production Configuration Engineers and is also responsible for the definition , follow-up of , and reception of the execution of the design work subcontracted to external partners. The LEDP Functional Lead has a duty of care to ensure alignment of functional requests impacting the LEDP platform across the enterprise, and ensure component and data model implementation decisions within the 3DExperience platform are in line with future needs. He also has the duty to challenge business requests and business processes, to propose breakthrough in ways of working and digitalization, contributing the company transformation and performance. **Responsibilities:** 1/ Ensure solution design fit to purpose: + Ensure harmonization of business requests for implementation (e.g. Launch Engine and Integrated Collaborative scheduling) + Lead **design authority from a solution perspective** , selecting the right 3DExperience modules and objects to address business requests, **maximizing OOTB usage** + Functional design ownership: Signing off how business storyboards translate into detailed **functional use cases and non-functional requirements** ; iterating through these in carefully prepared design workshops with business SMEs. Prepare functional gap analysis and present functional design trade-offs + Creating and maintaining **business process model blueprints** , covering logical data model and required augmentations, configurations and customizations + Collaborating in creating **integration/interface specifications** in partnership with Enterprise and System Architects + Piloting **proofs of concept** , documenting and demonstrating **use case design principles** to validate each element and obtain both business and digital team acceptance + Developing **functional and non-functional specification documentation** (including performance, security, protocols, sequences, etc.), to align use cases and storyboards with application capabilities and configuration requirements + Documenting **data quality requirements and impact specifications** related to data quality assessment, deployment models and legacy migration strategies—also contributing as input to the technical specifications + **Interface with LEDP Technical Lead to confirm feasibility of the design** + Be a key contributor of the **platform roadmap** , and in close relationship with Product Owners be a key contributor of the product roadmaps + **Manage Product Configuration Engineer team** 2/ Platform deployment and usage: + Provide adhoc **support to business team** in the deployment of the solution through solution expertise + Ensure alignment of solution with business expectation from functional and ergonomic perspective 3/ OOTB evolution: + Follow up of **Dassault Systems roadmap evolution** , and influence editor product functional roadmap to address Sanofi needs + Ensure Product Enhancement Requests creation and follow-up with Dassault Systems + Participate actively in weekly design authority meetings with DS, as well as in biweekly governance meetings with DS R&D **_About You_** **Education/Certifications** : + Minimum B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline + Advanced degree (eg. M.Sc) preferred **Skills** : + 8+ Experience in PLM functional solution design, preferably in a process industry + Sound knowledge of product and process design, including model based system engineering from design to qualification + Knowledge and experience of Dassault System 3DExp platform implementation in a recent version (post 2018), with a particular focus on the Delmia side of the platform data model + Experience with Business Process Mapping. Able to deal with complexity and simplify things, develop and maintain a 360 degree “big picture” view of the solution + Understand master data principles and technical overlaps among digital platforms, from PLM to ERP, MES, SCM, etc. + Familiar with Transformers and Machine Learning and their implementation + Strong written/oral communication skills (English; additional languages are an asset) + Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to mentor and develop cross-functional teams + Demonstrate efficient communication and stakeholder management skills + Team management experience **_Why choose us?_** + We provide a highly open and collaborative environment, with an opportunity to work with a world class team.
