About the department
This role is part of our newly unified Medical and Marketing department, based in Singapore. This strategic merger ensures the development of consistent, competitive, and scientifically sound messaging across a broad range of therapy areas. By integrating these two functions, we foster seamless collaboration and drive continuous differentiation from the competition. You will report directly to the Vice President of Medical and Marketing, Region APAC, and work in a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative environment that thrives on teamwork and shared goals.

 

The position
As the Digital Media & eHealth Director, you will lead the closed-loop marketing of the digital patient journey and drive patient engagement strategies across key countries in alignment with global teams. You will analyse insights to identify opportunities and challenges, increase traffic to patient websites, and oversee disease awareness campaigns. This role also involves integrating eHealth partnerships, supporting cross-market initiatives, and contributing to obesity market development. You will guide and coach affiliate project managers to deliver on goals while ensuring compliance with business ethics, local laws, and Novo Nordisk policies.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leads the cross-functional matrix team to deliver the patient engagement and digital obesity journey strategy, including a Centre of Excellence pilot, while driving eHealth business development across APAC and leveraging data insights to support decision-making and identify growth opportunities. Leads and challenges project scope, goals, deliverables, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and priorities, secures endorsement from relevant senior management boards, and excels at identifying synergies with other functions to ensure proper alignment. Leads and evaluates the relevance and impact of defined goals and fit with existing and upcoming regulations, continuously improves projects execution by challenging the status-quo to further optimise resources and enhance deliverable quality and identifies risks through collaboration with other functions. Ensures high visibility of projects, communicates regularly to maintain commitment, engagement, and motivation from the team and stakeholders, while shaping stakeholders’ perceptions to support new strategic initiatives and solutions. Encourages teams with different objectives to develop strategic “win-win” solutions by weighing risk and profitability, as well as ensuring proper prioritization and deliverables of the student assistant, external consultant, and indirectly with local project managers.

 

Qualifications

Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing, or equivalent. A minimum of 10 years of commercial experience, ideally within a Direct-to-Consumer Healthcare industry (e.g., Dermo cosmetics). Candidates from FMCG, online e-commerce (e.g. ebay, amazon, google) industry will be welcome and blended experiences in pharma business would be ideal. Also, the candidate with ideally 1-3 years+ of people management experience is preferred. Expert in digital marketing, innovation, and consumer-like engagement, with knowledge of key digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Social Media Analytics. Experience in running digital campaigns through digital agencies and/or significant customer acquisition experience in online business. Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and approach, is a data-driven individual with the ability to generate and provide insights, demonstrates strong business acumen, excels at creating networks and developing win-win solutions, and has strategic leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
