Accountable for delivery of technical systems/solutions, plus the architecture and documentation within their area of technical expertise, supporting enterprise and global environments while focused on continuous improvement in support of the IT strategic vision and roadmap. Essential Functions + Supports Division/Group/Corporate Information Technology objectives & standards. + Provide technical assistance/coaching to junior level infrastructure employees. + Act as a subject matter expert in support of the Group infrastructure value streams. + Maintains existing IT infrastructure systems - corrects issues & enhances current functionality. + Research and present new technologies that will enhance productivity & security. + Provides user support in the areas of software development, troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers, printers, and fine-tuning/configuration of servers and networks. + Support a variety of applications including shop floor control, bar coding equipment, work stations and Window based servers. + Achieve IT security objectives to minimize internal & external risks. + Comply with all regulations related to government contracts, data privacy, & risk management. + Maintain effective communication with supervisor/divisions/Group/Corporate employees. + Be cost effective within the operating budget established for IT related functions. + Maintain safety requirements and promote safety practices. + Maintain quality standards. Qualifications 1.Education + BS degree in Computer Science or other IT related degree required. + Technical certifications such as A+ or MCSE are a plus. 2. Experience + 2-5 years of manufacturing experience and 5-10+ years of IT infrastructure experience. 3. Technical Skills + Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. + Microsoft Windows operating systems. + Knowledge of Network architectures. + PC installation, configuring and troubleshooting. + LAN / WAN support. + Help Desk support. + Active Directory, SCCM, GPO. + Software & hardware support (PC, laptop, server, printers, tablets, thin clients, mobile + devices, CISCO switches, etc.). + VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies. + SQL Database administration. + VDI (virtual desktop). + Wireless controller & access point support. + Terminal services experience utilizing thin clients. + OT and/or IoT experience. + Backup and Disaster Recovery procedures. 4. Travel Requirement + Some overnight travel may be required to support division locations. 5. Personal Skills + Able to effectively communicate and build strong relationships with all employees & vendors. + Must have a strong customer service focus both internal and external. + Strong written and oral skills to gather information and convey solutions. + Maintain effective communication with supervisor and other employees. + Time & Project Management Skills. + Self-motivated. + Ability to work individually and with a team.
