Job Description

The Digital Execution Lead will have overall responsibility for the proper sequencing of projects in assigned areas to increase productivity, reduce costs, and ensure timely completion. They will identify operational conditions that have cost, risk, or customer impact and will aid in the design, development and implementation of solutions that will mitigate these conditions and optimize processes. They will map existing workflows and design new ones to meet operating objectives. Will also interface with internal and external contributors to the project to prioritize resources and ensure successful integration.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work within Digital Operations and with Digital Segment Executives to orchestrate, drive and execute key and operational initiatives for the segment.Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders, preparing necessary materials, documents, and reports for key audiences.Examples: Inputs to Executive QBRs, inputs for periodic board meeting updates, materials for Strategic Leadership OffsiteOptimize and orchestrate the management ecosystem for the Digital Segment, including meeting cadence, management reporting, and operating norms to work efficiently and effectively. Oversee daily operations of the Segment team, which includes thought leadership, close collaboration, planning, & communication with functional leaders on initiative coordination or business administration activities.Examples:  LT Daily Stand Ups, LT Weekly meetings, Town Halls, Segment Offsites, Extended Leadership Meeting & Managing Committee demosEffectively lead and execute initiatives with various complexities including identifying risks and costs then works to achieve it.Provide input, build templates, and drive deliverables leveraging cross-functional teams as needed.Drives accountability through measurable, optimized business outcomes (e.g. Annual CapEx investment planning work sessions, offshore visits, leadership offsites, roadshows)Manage day-to-day T & E and Training finance lines for Segment by prioritizing and sequencing spend and tracking actuals to forecast.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and develop and drive tactics that improve workflow, agility, teamwork, organizational performance, and budget management.Manage content library for sharing across teams to reduce re-work and optimize limited resources (e.g. Inclusion and Belonging, Tech Updates, new), review of open reqs with Senior LeadersDrive assigned work with focus on effectiveness, simplicity, and efficiency, removing roadblocks and eliminating bureaucracy at all levels of the organization.Continuously expand and develop industry knowledge and experience to effectively influence execution.Domestic travel approximately once a month for 3-5 days per trip.Time allocation:30% of the time spent running operational routines for the segment team (e.g. Daily Stand Up, Leadership Weekly meeting, materials and talking points)30% producing ad hoc executive materials (e.g. 3-year roadmaps)25% support of enterprise routines (e.g. CapEx monthly updates, quarterly Portfolio Updates, Annual CapEx Planning)15% tactical tracking and planning (e.g. travel expenses)

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Experience in developing strategies and providing work direction and guidance to a broader team or organization. Ability to make sense out of complex situations, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, and driving outcomes with appropriate levels of governance and controls.COMMUNICATION: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively build and articulate messages with story-telling technics and detailed points of view.INFLUENCE: Proven history of leading and/or influencing senior leaders and teams by proven results driven through excellent leadership in action.PROBLEM SOLVING: Problem solving orientated, with the ability to recognize needs, anticipate issues, and develop solutions using strong analytical, business knowledge, and financial acumen.INTERPERSONAL: Outstanding interpersonal, influence-management, and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders and presenting to senior leaders.PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Expert level skills in continuous improvement, and data analytics and management, amongst other process improvement skills.BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Experience analyzing data, providing solutions, recommending action, and regulating spend as it relates to the overall budget.MICROSOFT OFFICE: Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Visio, Teams, Co-PilotTHOUGHT PARTNER: Proactively respond to changing business needs and objectives, while considering implications of business or people-related decisions and actions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or applicable experience.Typically 10 or more years of banking or other relevant work experience 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

A master’s degree or further professional credentials would enhance a candidate's qualifications.Ten years of experience with Operations or Financial Services Business leaders with progressive experienceExperience working at executional level in support of strategic business.Consulting with executive leaders and operating in a matrixed environment.Three or more years of management experienceWell-developed leadership abilities and project management skillsThorough knowledge of the current business or regulatory environment and the ability to anticipate changes.Effective verbal and written communication skillsWell-developed analytical, decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsConsiderable tact, diplomacy, and people skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
