Digital Development Analyst - Controllers Governance, Controls & Transformation  (fixed term maternity cover)


This digital tools role incorporates a variety of diverse digital technologies into an ever-changing workforce. This role will be responsible for implementing these technologies into existing infrastructure to help to optimize and industrialize digital tools across our organization. As a global bank, this role is positioned in a manner where individuals are connected to a broad network of uniquely talented partners across the world.

The Global Digital Team is part of the Controllers Governance, Controls & Transformation organization and is responsible for managing various initiatives and driving transformation.  The vision of the Digital Team is to facilitate Controllers Governance, Controls & Transformation to be an exceptional team that embraces innovation and inclusivity. The team seeks to be a catalyst for change and drive global end-to-end process transformation in accordance with the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders.


This Digital Team supports our organization’s innovation and transformation efforts.  This team will enable a consistent model for Digital delivery to drive and support the design and implementation of digital use-cases. The team will also provide power user advisory and support for digital enablement, the identification of digital tools and use-case solutions and drive efforts supporting the compliance for IT-enabled Smart Solutions globally.


Responsibilities:


The Digital Development Analyst will be part of the Digital Team and will assist with driving change by way of the implementation of digital solutions.  Key responsibilities:

Working with Digital Use-Case owners to design and implement specific solutions and deploy them on a country, regional or global basis. Working with the various functions within Finance and GFTS (Global Functions Technology Services) to ensure that the digital strategy is optimal given current and emerging digital realities and opportunities. Tracking cross-functional activities and ensuring consistency in the processes and methodologies that are deployed.Supporting the teams globally to improve their understanding of the impact of emerging technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations and solutions for how to adopt new standards and requirements.


Ideal background:


The ideal candidate will have educational experience working on transformation projects.  Additional qualifications:

Bachelor’s/University degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent is preferred+/- 3 years of experience in the Financial Industry desired, ideally in Product ControlHighly skilled in digital tools and capabilities (i.e. KNIME, Tableau, Python etc.)Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a rapidly changing environmentStrong business analysis and design skillsStrong communication skills that guide and influence others and interact effectively with business and technical teamsExperience and ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environmentExcellent written and spoken English language skillsPrevious management experience is highly recommended


The following skills are preferred, but not required:

Solid experience in front-end development with JavaScriptDeep knowledge of HTML, CSSSolid knowledge of jQuery and BootstrapBasic knowledge of SharePoint list field setup and maintenanceBasic knowledge of CRUD operations via SharePoint 2013 REST services (incl. list items, files and permissions)Experience with CAML query schema, JSON and XML parsing via JSExperience with SharePoint online, Power Apps experience is optional
