As the Data & Performance Lead at Diageo, you will be responsible for owning the development and execution of our end-to-end Marketing Data Strategy. You will drive the collection, organization, analysis, and activation of data to unlock growth, enable personalization at scale, and power effective marketing performance across CRM, D2C, Media, and more.
This is a strategic leadership role that bridges data, technology, and marketing. You will work cross-functionally to craft and implement data programs that bring to bear 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party sources to fuel audience strategies, optimize media investments, and ensure measurement completion. You will also lead all aspects of the evolution of our MarTech stack, with a strong focus on Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and marketing automation tools.
You are a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology.
You have deep experience in building data ecosystems and using them to fuel audience-centric marketing strategies.
You are hands-on with MarTech platforms—especially CDPs—and understand how to turn complexity into visibility.
You are passionate about performance: measurement, testing, optimizing, and scaling what works.
You speak both the language of marketers and data scientists, acting as a bridge across fields.
You’re a collaborator and a mentor, able to rally internal customers and external partners around a shared vision.
You’re passionate about building a data-driven culture—and know how to inspire change from within.
English proficiency is mandatory
Key responsibilities:Own the Marketing Data Strategy, ensuring it directly drives business growth through smart, insight-led decision-making.
Lead all aspects of the implementation and ongoing evolution of the Customer Data Platform (CDP), enabling flawless connections between data, insights, and personalized activations.
Drive data activation and monetization, bringing to bear audience insights to power paid media and personalized brand experiences across digital channels.
Develop and scale robust measurement frameworks, including full-funnel attribution models, incrementality testing, and performance critical metrics.
Connect and optimize the entire MarTech ecosystem, ensuring that all platforms and tools—from data collection to activation—are fully coordinated and interoperable.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (CRM, D2C, Media, Analytics, IT) and external partners to unlock the full value of our data and technology investments.
Act as a key driver of digital transformation, encouraging a data-driven demeanor and embedding data-led practices into the marketing organization.
