What You'll Do

Role profile
As Digital Content Strategists, we drive and support BCG’s commercial priorities through customized content strategies that reach, resonate with, and convert our target audiences. We deliver a focused, optimized, and timely content experience that supports BCG’s business growth.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in SEO content strategies and user experience best practices and will harness the power of metrics to inform and refine BCG’s approach to digital content marketing across a variety of digital channels. They will take ownership for creating content or cross-channel strategies that enable BCG to get the most out of its digital content.

Collaboration is key. Digital content strategists will work closely with BCG teams and experts as thought partners and communication experts, with a view toward maximizing reach and engagement across channels. They will work closely with our digital team as well as with others across Global Marketing including our web, SEO, CX, email, and channel analytics teams.

As part of their role, digital content strategists will apply their strong digital marketing and content skills to help amplify BCG’s commercial priorities.
The Digital Content Strategy Senior Manager will report to the Digital Content Strategy Program Director and will be an integral part of BCG’s Digital Marketing team, which is part of the firm’s global Marketing and Communications function.

 

Your accountabilities

Executing against marketing priorities by applying sound editorial or digital marketing judgment and strong project-management and communication skills.Working closely with stakeholders across content, commercial and leadership teams to develop and execute plans for content and asset distribution across digital properties and channels.Applying a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and the respective metrics that indicate progress to outcome delivery and using metrics to inform content strategy.Actively building relationships across global marketing, operating as part of an integrated team, and looking for opportunities to contribute expertise.Utilizing internal communication tools—including Wrike, Slack, and Trello—to help manage projects and stay connected to various efforts and priorities in global marketing.Contributing to projects and initiatives geared toward improving the quality and reach of our content as well as the ways we work together to produce and share content.Making recommendations to help move work forward and showing initiative in solving problems and overcoming challenges.

What You'll Bring

Minimum 7+ years of work experience in a professional environment Broad expertise across multiple digital channels, including but not limited to: content development, websites, SEO, email, and UX.Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environmentCommitment to teaming and mentoring others

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.

 

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

The base salary range for this role in Boston is $134,000.00 - $164,000.00.

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

 

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
