The digital content specialist will create inspiring & informative building materials content for architects, designers, contractors, installers, pros & homeowners. With storytelling at their core - this individual will work to surface the heritage, craftsmanship, performance and quality of our flooring and other hard surface products across our digital ecosystem. Equal parts writer and designer this individual will work to enhance, build & evolve our digital channels to include our websites, blogs, email, social media and digital paid advertising.
JOB DUTIES:
Content creation: Develop and produce engaging still and motion content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, email newsletters, display advertising, and other digital channels. Content will align with product launches, business strategy and priorities. Writing, editing and proofreading: Write engaging, channel appropriate copy and ensure all content is grammatically correct, adheres to style guidelines, and maintains a consistent brand voice. Content strategy: Develop content strategies that align with marketing goals, brand messaging, and audience needs. Seek new and innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends. Content management: Manage content calendars and ensure timely publication across various platforms to maintain consistency and engagement. Content optimization: Ensure content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and audience growth to improve visibility and drive organic traffic. Collaboration: Work closely with both internal and external partners such as agencies, photo studios, marketing, graphics, and product teams to ensure content aligns with overarching strategies and campaigns. Customer Journey Building: Partner with the CRM team to develop relevant, timely and impactful customer email journeys.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate a purchase Creating and maintaining agency relationships Educating and coaching others to understand digital marketing principles and tactics Proficient in managing processes across several markets and initiatives Self-motivated and customer focused Proficient in requesting and understanding marketing research and statistical analysis Able to develop budgeting and strategic planning across various markets and channels Excellent organization and communication skillsQUALIFICATIONS:
Education: bachelor's degree in graphic design, website design, communications, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 4+ relevant professional experience in email coding & design, content creation, writing & editing is required. Writing and Editing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar, style, and storytelling. SEO: A solid understanding of SEO principles and experience optimizing content for search engines, as well as proficiency in using analytics tools. Content Management Systems (CMS): Familiarity with platforms like WordPress or similar. Experience with email marketing platforms such as Hubspot. Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite. Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate ideas clearly. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies, platforms, and content trends.Physical Demands:
