Job Summary
The Digital Campaigns Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive qualified inquiries to online.odu.edu, convert inquiries into applicants and increase ODUGlobal enrollment. As a critical member of the Strategic Enrollment Management team, this role leverages data-driven insights and digital marketing expertise to meet aggressive enrollment goals in a competitive environment. This fully remote position requires collaboration with internal and external partners and thrives on creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to innovation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and responsive, demonstrating an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving needs.
This role oversees a significant multi-million-dollar marketing budget and partners closely with digital marketing vendors, the Web Innovation team, and the Marketing Cloud team to optimize audience targeting, channel selection, and geographic strategies. A deep understanding of the admissions funnel, particularly for transfer, graduate, and military students, and lead nurturing techniques is essential. Candidates must have prior experience in higher education marketing, with preference given to those with a background in online education.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Administration, or a related field or a Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with significant work experience equating to an advanced degree.
+ Strong understanding of the admissions funnel and lead nurturing strategies.
+ Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and marketing automation platforms.
+ Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance.
+ Proven ability to manage significant budgets and deliver measurable results.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
+ Basic computer skills required (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadline and sensitive assignments.
+ Ability to work with diverse populations
+ The position is fully remote but requires a willingness to travel to campus and conferences on occasion.
+ Considerable experience in digital marketing, with a focus on media buying, audience segmentation, and channel strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Some prior experience in online education
+ Some prior Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
Conditions of Employment
The equipment provided to staff with approved telework agreements enables them to deliver vital services to University faculty, staff, and students from remote locations. Many of our operations can and should continue as usual, even when the main physical campus is closed. Therefore, all DTT employees with an approved telework agreement are generally expected to work during official University closures.
