Your New Role… 

The Digital Artist is responsible for high-end photo retouching for unit photography and supporting imagery tied to HBO and Max original programming. This role transforms raw images into polished, publication-ready assets that align with both the series’ creative vision and overall brand standards. The position works closely with Photo Producers, Media Relations, and Show Production, maintaining constant collaboration to incorporate talent feedback and production notes. 

 

 

Your Role Accountabilities… 

 

Color correcting and retouching high volumes of unit photography and screengrabs for all original programming unit photography, gallery shoots, specials, and documentaries.  

Matching and maintaining color consistency of imagery with confidential color graded screeners. 

Creating composites of various complexities for unit photography, gallery, and special requests.  

Extending images and creating multi-layered LSR files for the Digital Platforms team. 

Uploading and downloading assets to and from the Digital Asset Management system. 

  

Qualifications & Experience… 

 

4+ years experience in digital retouching, with a portfolio showcasing your work. 

Proficiency with Adobe: Photoshop (w/Topaz Photo), Camera Raw, Bridge, Premiere, Lightroom, Illustrator. Proficiency with Capture One. 

Experience with advanced techniques in retouching, compositing, and image manipulation. 

Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.  

Ability to take direction and apply feedback effectively. 

Knowledge of industry trends and the ability to adapt to new technologies or software. 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
