**Job Description :** **Name of the role:** Digital and Media Manager **Location:** Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic **Type of contract:** Permanent **Purpose of role:** The Digital and Media Manager is responsible for building an omnichannel media strategy and drive execution excellence through brilliant comms plans with digital programs as a core element. This role is critical to succeed in a marketing landscape that is constantly evolving, with a uniquely integrated digital ecosystem that offers unparalleled opportunities to connect with consumers. The role is also responsible for establishing an effective and efficient investment that enables sustainable business growth, through leading rigorous performance measurement and testing of future opportunities. **Our market** Caribbean and Central America market (CCA) is a very dynamic market with a large geographical footprint (37 countries) that operates under a distributor based RTC model. CCA office hub is in Panama, where we also host the Latin America Innovation Technology Center. CCA is a Diageo business unit that generates approximately $300m in net sales value, where Scotch category accounts for 70% of sales, predominantly playing in the Premium and Super Premium segments. Diageo share of market in Scotch varies from 45% to 75% across the region – making us the number one player. **About the role:** **Decision Making:** + Define the omnichannel Digital & Media Strategy for the brands in scope. + Determines the most effective and efficient media plans to invest Media and Digital budget. + Define the right structure, deliverables, and way of working with our Media Agency/partners, as well as manages continuous assessment of our partners for further improvement. **Financial Responsibility:** + Direct management of digital and media agency fees as well as negotiation. + Direct management of the media budget for the brands, as well as the administrative process associated to it, such as purchase orders, invoice trackers, monthly forecast. + Leads the semi-annual sign-off process, presenting each activation with defined budget, timeline, and KPIs **Leadership Responsibilities:** + There are no direct reports to this position; however the role require collaboration and leadership skills to inspire and influence multiple stakeholders: Brand Managers, LAC Media, Global Digital Center of excellence, Culture Manager, CMO team (comms at point of sale), Distributors Marketing teams, Global DMC team, Procurement, Digital managers in Global brand teams and external agencies teams. **Key Outputs/Deliverables:** Omni-channel Media Strategy: + Deeply understand the brand strategy and goals and lead into building a winning omni-channel comms plan that grow our brand’s awareness, equity, and cultural relevance. + Work with brand teams and media agency to drive clear alignment and trackable KPIs. + Within the omni-channel plans, create a comprehensive media strategy for our brands. Work closely with the Culture team to maximize brand impact through influencers and deliver scale earned media. Planning & Execution Excellence: + Get the best out of our content creation and media agencies to deliver brilliant joined up Comms plans in a multi-channel environment. + Provides input during the annual budget planning process to ensure that the top brands meet DIAGEO Media Sufficiency guidelines and all brands have a strong digital component. + Coordinates the creation and optimization of digital content alongside the digital creative agency and media agency to maximize brand resources and maintain a clear ‘Always On’ presence. + Guides the ‘Digital & Media First’ content creation approach to guarantee every message is taking into consideration the media channel specifics. Media & Digital Performance analytics: + Use data to evaluate the performance of media and digital campaigns. + Drive insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes (e.g. higher engagement on social media) + Ensure best practice is implemented and future opportunities are proactively tested. Digital Innovation Pilots + Partner with Diageo Digital center of excellence to identify new technology to connect with consumers + Leverage digital and AI technology for future content generation and distribution. + Fully leverage external capability/ technology to simplify manual effort. Capability & Business Integrity: + Builds capability across all business unit marketing teams around digital & media + Comply with Marketing & Digital Code and escalate issues as they arise specially on social media. **Qualifications and Experience Required:** + Bachelor degree in Marketing / Digital Marketing / Mass Media - required + Minimum 5 years of experience in building brands through Consumer & Digital Marketing, across the entire Digital Marketing Ecosystem (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Influencers, Email, Content, Mobile) + Direct experience in media planning / media buying in Latin America (Media agency or digital agency experience preferred) + Experience of managing multiple stakeholder teams across geographies + Proven ability to inspire and influence working team to deliver great work. + Project management skills for being able to plan, prioritize, and lead deliverables - required. + Strong relationships and proven track record of agency management + Bilingual Fluency (English & Spanish) required + Available to travel 20% of the time **Location** • Role is based Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. **Worker Type :** Regular **Primary Location:** Santo Domingo **Additional Locations :** **Job Posting Start Date :** 2025-03-11 With over 200 brands sold in more than 180 countries, we’re the world’s leading premium drinks company.
