Digital Acquisition Manager | Barclays | London
We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially astute Digital Investing Acquisition Manager to drive the acquisition planning and execution for our Digital Investing platform called, including Smart Investor. This is a hands-on role responsible for significantly increasing the number of new customers and assets on the platform, driving short- and long-term commercial outcomes through data-led initiatives and cross-channel acquisition plans.
As a driver of new customer growth, you will develop and execute acquisition initiatives across multiple channels including Owned and Paid Marketing, SEO, content, colleague channels, and third-party partnerships. A key part of your responsibility will include owning the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) plan and execution across public-facing and secure client-facing webpages. You will use performance data and insights to track KPIs, shape future campaigns, and drive innovation acquisition activity—constantly looking for ways to innovate and accelerate digital investing growth.
You will partner across a matrix of internal stakeholders—including Marketing, Content, Digital, Analytics, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Proposition teams—to deliver integrated, compliant, and customer-centric acquisition journeys. As a valued voice in the Digital Investing business, you will also support customer retention and engagement, helping to improve activation, funding, and lifetime customer value.
This role requires strong commercial skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a passion for customer-centric innovation. You will update on Digital Investing initiatives in forums and stakeholder meetings up to a senior level. You will play a key part in defining and delivering a digitally enabled growth model for the future of investing at Barclays.
Essential Criteria:
Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial acumen, with experience using data to drive acquisition initiatives and track performance.Proven experience in digital marketing, customer acquisition, or growth-focused roles.Strong understanding of SEO strategy and execution, including content optimisation across public and secure digital environments.Demonstrated success in delivering strategic and tactical initiatives across multiple channels and teams in a matrixed organisation.Effective stakeholder management across marketing, product, operations, compliance, and executive leadership.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the business.Digital and technology savvy, with a strong grasp of digital customer behaviours, funnel metrics, and platform performance.Comfortable in high-paced environments with proven prioritisation and project management skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Desirable Criteria:
Strong commercial awareness and experience in driving measurable growth in customer numbers and balances on digital platforms.Advanced Excel skills and the ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership audiences.Experience prioritising competing opportunities based on commercial value and customer outcomes, delivering change at pace.Confident working in complex, regulated environments with a track record of ensuring compliance with risk and policy frameworks.Demonstrated thought leadership in identifying and solving customer pain points using digital-first strategies.Experience in building and managing relationships with external partners to support digital acquisition growth.This role is based in London.

Accountabilities
