Digital Account Executive
Are you passionate about helping Education organisations unlock the full potential of their cybersecurity and artificial intelligence capabilities? As a Digital Account Executive, you’ll lead strategic engagements with K–12 customers to identify their security needs and align them with Microsoft’s integrated security, compliance, identity, and AI solutions. You’ll guide customers through their digital transformation journey—demonstrating how Microsoft’s security platform, infused with AI and automation, can protect their digital estate, streamline operations, and empower their workforce. Your role will be central to helping customers adopt a Zero Trust mindset, enhance threat protection, and build resilience across their environments. You’ll be part of a high-performing team focused on Microsoft’s K-12 Education customers, driving the day-to-day execution of our security priorities. You’ll collaborate across internal teams and partners to deliver impactful Copilot-based security experiences, generate pipeline, and close deals that deliver measurable outcomes. With a deep understanding of the Education sector’s unique challenges, you’ll help customers safeguard their digital ecosystems while unlocking new ways of working through AI. This role blends strategic engagement, technical knowledge, and collaborative execution—empowering you to help customers advance their security posture and realise the full value of Microsoft’s security and AI capabilities. **Responsibilities** **Empower Purpose-Driven Transformation** + **Collaborate with Mission-Driven Decision Makers:** Work with social impact organisations’ leaders to design AI-driven digital transformation strategies that align with their missions and long-term goals. + **Build Trusted Partnerships:** Build trusted, lasting board and CXO level relationships by deeply understanding customer needs, challenges, and opportunities. + **Bridge Technology and Purpose:** Align organisational objectives with Microsoft’s AI and cloud capabilities to tackle complex challenges and drive meaningful outcomes that amplify societal and environmental impact. **Accelerate Results** + **Strategic Execution for Growth:** Develop and execute strategic account plans that deliver measurable growth, enhance satisfaction, and achieve impactful results. + **Deliver Collaborative Solutions:** Partner with Microsoft teams and partner ecosystem to create scalable, tailored solutions for the unique needs of social impact organisations. + **Scale Through Skilling:** Drive adoption of AI and cloud solutions by integrating AI skilling initiatives to empower social impact organisations to achieve sustainable growth and long-term innovation. **Inspire Innovation** + **Ignite Vision in the Boardroom:** Lead tailored board and CXO workshops that showcase Microsoft’s AI and cloud capabilities, inspiring leaders to think boldly and embrace transformative strategies. + **Champion Data-Driven Transformation:** Develop compelling business cases and strategic roadmaps that align with customer KPIs, ensuring data-driven decision-making and impactful change. + **Foster Bold Thinking:** Encourage visionary leadership by highlighting innovative solutions, global best practices, and success stories that amplify impact at scale across a network of social impact organisation leaders. **Drive Sales Excellence** + **Unlock Strategic Growth Opportunities:** Design and execute detailed account plans using data-driven insights, proven methodologies, and proactive growth strategies. + **Build Transformative Ecosystem Partnerships:** Strengthen high-value relationships across Microsoft’s extensive partner network to secure impactful deals and develop innovative commercial models. + **Master Operational Precision:** Lead with discipline and focus through pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and strategic alignment to achieve and exceed measurable outcomes. **Be a Thought Leader:** Stay ahead of industry trends, leverage deep knowledge to influence strategic decisions, and position yourself as a trusted advisor by delivering innovative solutions that align with the goals of social impact organisations **Qualifications** Required/minimum qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) or related field AND 3+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work experience + OR 5+ years sales and negotiation experience + OR equivalent experience. + Experience in leading cross functional virtual and diverse teams and navigating complex partner ecosystems. Preferred Experience: + Sales or account management experience, working with social impact or public sector organisations. + Proven ability to deliver results in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments. + Demonstrated passion for social impact through though previous roles, leadership, or purpose-driven initiatives. Digital Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $40.96 - $80.96 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $60.96 - $86.11 per hour.
