Job Summary
SummaryManages the comprehensive medical nutritional care of patients which includes providing nutrition assessment, development of nutrition care plans, diet modification, nutrition education, and all activities involved in the nutritional needs of the patient population.
Based on multiple criterion including assessment of nutritional needs, physician's orders, clinical data, interdisciplinary health care plans, and standards of quality nutritional care that appropriately meet age, psychosocial and physical needs of patients, the Dietitian develops and implements nutrition plan of care for patients.
Documentation of all nutrition related information including assessment, nutrition therapy recommendations and care plan, follow up data and changes, diet consultation results, discharge planning, daily clinical activities, and other related orders and pertinent information.
Counsel, educate, and develop resources and materials for the education of patients on families on prescribed therapeutic diets.
Partner with food service staff to ensure meals, supplements, and nutrition support is provided; review patients' menu selections to monitor compliance with modified diets.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree Clinical Dietitian required; Master's Degree preferred
Heartsaver CPR AED Certification [CPR] preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Dietitian and Nutritionist [LDN state of Massachusetts] required
Registered Dietitian [RD] or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist [RDN] required

Ability to effectively collaborate with Concierge Medicine & Executive Health clinical colleagues and schedulers by effectively evaluating and problem solving to facilitate the appropriate appointments
Ability to guide, teach, and motivate clients in person as well virtually using video-based platform, if applicable
Competent with Microsoft Office desktop applications; familiar with database management software. Knowledge with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director and dotted line to the Wellness Program Manager, this Dietitian is responsible for providing robust 60 minute appointments in all aspects of nutrition as it relates to Concierge Medicine and Executive Health, as well as supporting all wellness activities. The Dietitian acts as the point of contact for patients, physicians, and support staff for all nutrition information providing exceptional, high-touch customer service and support. The Dietitian is also expected to assist with wellness program growth through developing ideas, workshopping them with colleagues, and carrying them through to implementation.
The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian who possesses high levels of emotional intelligence to meet a broad array of patients where they are. This position allows the Dietitian to work closely with practice leadership, the Concierge Medicine and Executive Health physicians, to provide longer and more in-depth appointments for each patient.
Manages the comprehensive medical nutritional care of patients which includes providing nutrition assessment, development of nutrition care plans, diet modification, nutrition education, BIA body composition analysis, and all activities involved in the nutritional needs of the patient population.
Ability to contribute nutrition media articles and patient educational materials to the department's monthly Wellness Newsletter.
