Our Graduate Dietitian role is structured to offer exposure to a wide range of clinical settings, professional development supports, and training through a supported induction process.  We will provide you with an onsite supervisor to support your journey and a genuine caring management team.

We have a team of over 90 staff across both campuses in Sinnamon Park and Chermside.

Our team includes Physiotherapists, Dietetics, Podiatry, Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing and more!

Your Role as Dietitian

You’ll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability, community, and wellbeing settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:

Assessment of customer dietetic needs and development of individual treatment plans and goals  Delivery of high-quality intervention and dietetic advice  Regular review of customer treatment plans and goals  Assisting customers to achieve optimum nutritional and dietetic outcomes Provide instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required. Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer.  Ensure that the customer is an active participant in the development and review of treatment goals and planning.  Ensure that positive and professional relationships and rapport are developed and maintained with customers. Provide services to customers presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care, disability, health and wellbeing, return to work and rehabilitation.  Complete accurate assessment and review of dietetic needs of customers, and to provide a consultancy service to a wide range of customers.  Development of individual treatment plans for customers assessed as needing dietetic advice and intervention. 

You’ll be primarily based at our Sinnamon Park or Chermside centres, with opportunities to work across other sites depending on client needs.

What We’re Looking For

Tertiary qualifications in Dietetics and current eligibility for membership of Dietitians Association of Australia and the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program.Demonstrated ability to effectively work with staff, clients, and familiesExceptional communication skills and a focus on patient-centred care

Essential Requirements

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)NDIS Worker Screening ClearanceCurrent Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
