As a Dietary Aide, you help us support patient health by ensuring proper food handling and transportation. In this role, you can gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, all while making a difference in the lives of patients every day. **A caregiver in this position works days/evenings from 6:00AM - 2:00PM or 2:00PM - 8:00PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Perform a variety of duties to ensure proper distribution of prepared foods to patients, cafeteria guests and catered events. + Accurately set up and deliver patient trays and nourishments. + Distribute correct portions of food and beverage items. + Demonstrate working knowledge of specific therapeutic diets. + Follow department standards and procedures. + Utilize and rotate food products, appropriately store leftovers and label and date food items.
