**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Normal, IL. **$5000 Sign on Bonus** Initially this will be a **7AM - 3:30PM** shift. Towards the end of 2025 we are looking to add a **Monday - Thursday, 1:30PM - 12AM** Shift. To be considered for this role you must be available to work either shift. You will make an impact in the following ways: + Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools **RESPONSIBILITIES** In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Completes complex internal engine repairs (i.e. head gaskets, camshaft, cylinder kit) + Experience assisting w/ engine overhauls or completing unassisted + Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components + Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Diesel experience preferred.
