Responsibilities:
Assist in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and related systems (brakes, transmissions, electrical, etc.)
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electronic issues
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures at all times
Assist senior mechanics with more complex repairs and overhauls
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
6+ months of experience working in an automotive or diesel shop (including internships or apprenticeships)
Basic understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems and tools
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills

High school diploma or GED
Completion of or current enrollment in a diesel technology or automotive technician program
Basic knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
