Major Responsibilities
As a Plastic Injection Moulding Die Setter, you will be responsible for changing dies and setting up injection moulding machines. You need to perform key tasks listed below in accordance with D&D policies and procedures to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Start up and shut down machine & driers as per company’s procedure Change dies and inserts and make adjustment as needed Use crane to set and remove dies from machines Cycle the machine to produce good parts Check parts for proper tolerances, surface blemishes, etc and make adjustment to compensate any irregularities. Set and adjust machines until target parameters for part have been achieved and seek to minimize reject rate. Dedicated to learning from others & share skills and knowledge. Responsible for meeting quality standards. Accurate recording of production records (production settings, waste, etc) Ensuring compliance with OH&S, regulatory, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Qualifications & Licences
Tool Maker / Die Setter / Moulder Any equivalent combination of experience in Setting Dies, training and/or education as an Injection moulding die setter / moulder is an advantage Current Australian Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence.
Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar Injection Moulding Machine Die Setter role within a manufacturing or industrial setting with strong mechanical background.
Technical Skills
Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Solid understanding of maintenance practices and production priorities. Knowledge of safety standards, and equipment regulatory requirements.
