**Job Title: Die Cutter**
**Job Description**
The candidate will be responsible for assisting die cut operators with various tasks. This includes building boxes, packing products, performing visual inspections, documenting output and quality, retrieving and returning tubes and boxes, and handling lids and rolls on and off the machine. The role requires standing for the entire 8-hour shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist die cut operators in building boxes and packing products.
+ Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality.
+ Document output and quality standards accurately.
+ Retrieve and return tubes and boxes as needed.
+ Handle lids and rolls by pulling them on and off the machine.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of experience as a production operator or machine operator.
+ 1 year of experience in visual inspection.
+ Ability to lift 30 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with general labor, production, packing, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
**Why Work Here?**
Employees will receive a pay increase upon being hired and will begin training to transition into the print side of operations. Opportunities for advancement include becoming a Press Helper starting at $19 per hour and eventual training to become a certified Press Operator with a further pay increase to $23 per hour.
**Work Environment**
The position is on the 2nd shift, running from 2pm to 10:30pm, with a pay rate of $17/hour. The facility is climate-controlled and adheres to GMP standards, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, and ear plugs. The dress code includes jeans, a T-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. The primary products include Keurig coffee lids and lids for other food products such as yogurt.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
