Casting Operator | $17 | Monday – Friday 7am-3pm What Matters MostCompetitive Pay of $17 an hourSchedule: Monday – Friday 7am-3pmLocation: Elyria, OHTemporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stabilityWeekly Pay with direct deposit or pay cardWhen you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description The die casting job involves operating and maintaining die casting machines to produce metal parts. This includes setting up the equipment, monitoring the molten metal pouring process, inspecting finished parts for quality, and performing basic maintenance on the machines. This may also involve trimming excess material, repairing molds, and documenting production details. Responsibilities:Operating the die casting machine: This includes loading dies, setting parameters like temperature and pressure, and ensuring the machine runs smoothly during the casting process. Monitoring and inspecting: Checking the molten metal flow, ensuring proper filling of the die, and inspecting finished castings for defects or adherence to specifications. Setting up and adjusting equipment: Installing dies, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper alignment and functioning of the equipment. Performing maintenance and repairs: Basic maintenance of the die casting machine, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing minor issues. Trimming and finishing parts: Removing excess material, grinding scrap, and preparing the parts for further processing.  Qualifications and Requirements:Mechanical aptitude, experience with gauges, micrometers, tape measure & hand toolsAbility to work without supervision & strong work ethicStrong math skillsAbility to lift 50 lbs repetitivelyPrevious trim, press or injection molding experienceMust be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check Benefits and Perks:$17 an hourMedical, Dental & Vision Benefits 401KReferral Bonuses Your New Organization:Its employees – the most skilled in the industry – are the hallmark of the operation.
