Position Overview:
The Dialysis Technician is responsible for preparing dialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, and maintaining sterile conditions during dialysis treatment. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, the technician supports safe, effective dialysis treatments in the inpatient setting.

•Set up, operate, and clean dialysis machines and equipment
•Prepare treatment area and ensure all supplies and machines are ready for use
•Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during dialysis treatment
•Respond to alarms, machine malfunctions, or patient needs during treatment
•Report any unusual findings or changes in patient condition to the nurse or physician
•Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
•Clean and disinfect dialysis machines and patient areas
•Adhere to infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality protocols
•Other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
Qualifications:
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited training program
•Certification: Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) required within 18 months of employment
•Experience: 1 year experience in dialysis care, active CNA license and CNA experience preferred
•Skills: Detail-oriented, strong communication, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
