**Job Description**
**Vascular Sonographer**

Whether in the inpatient setting or outpatient clinics, your expertise will directly impact clinical decisions and patient outcomes.
As a **Vascular Sonographer** , you will:
+ Perform **diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging** , including vascular studies, with precision and compassion
+ Support radiologists and residents during **complex or advanced studies**
+ Act as a **technical resource** in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging department
+ Uphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settings
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Graduate of an **accredited ultrasound program**
+ Registered with **ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography)** upon hire, or within **12 months of hire**
+ RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or VT certification **upon hire** or within **12 months**
+ **BCLS certification** required and must be maintained throughout employment
+ Strong **leadership skills** and ability to communicate effectively with all members of the care team
+ Proven ability to work **independently with minimal supervision**
+ Must be able to lift up to **50 lbs** and assist with patient positioning
+ Demonstrates understanding of the **human development process** and ability to care for patients across the lifespan
+ Computer proficiency, including the ability to input and retrieve patient data

+ Interest in **advanced vascular imaging technologies** or quality improvement initiatives
