Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor – CT – Full Time – Kenmore

SUMMARY

Under general direction supervises the daily operations of the imaging department at a single site with several modalities to assure the delivery of the highest quality of diagnostic images. Directs workflow, develops staffing schedule in coordination with the regional manager, resolves technical problems and ensures general operations conform to established standards.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

ARRT and Massachusetts Radiology License. If working in Mammography, MR, CT or Ultrasound appropriate certifications are required. RDMS/RVT are needed for Ultrasound positions. Must have an active CPR certification. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

EXPERIENCE

3 years’ experience as an imaging technologist with at least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in the imaging environment.

SKILLS

Proficiency with Excel Word and have a general experience working with HIS/RIS products. Must be able to multi-task. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
