Performs corrective and preventive maintenance, calibration, electrical, mechanical and radiation safety inspections and equipment acceptance testing on diagnostic imaging equipment (x-ray equipment). Provides a leadership role and serves as a backup during manager's absence. Serves as a positive role model for junior positions at all times.
Essential FunctionsDiagnoses problems on imaging equipment and repairs or establishes a service plan. Orders parts, contacts vendors and follows-up to assure proper equipment operation in a quality and timely manner.Performs preventive maintenance on imaging equipment to comply with federal, state, and local government standards. Assures all equipment always remains in compliance.Completes all work orders and p.m. forms. Enters all data into the computer. Maintains schematics, manuals, and service documents. Updates procedural documentation as necessary.Performs parts procurement and inventory maintenance on new and refurbished replacement parts. Updates procedural documentation as necessary.Performs site planning, de-installation, and re-installation of imaging systems.Uses tools and equipment appropriately. Knows when and how to use tools and equipment to perform the job in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. Consistently uses tools and equipment correctly on the job.Maintains and contributes to a safe work environment. Adheres to all safety policies, procedures, and practices, including the wearing of protective clothing and gear.Models the behaviors embodied in the Essence of BSC. As a member of BSC, takes responsibility for constructively confronting and resolving problems. Participates in open communication and teamwork activities. Delivers on commitments in a high quality and timely fashion.
