Title: DG BOSS: Painter + As directed by the Superintendent, may load, transport, unload, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. + Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary. + May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials during installation. + Responsible for mixing paints, matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. + May perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects related to the construction industry. + Installs, repairs, and maintains drywall, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing. + Applies paints, stains, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials to a variety of surfaces, as appropriate, and according to Materials Safety Data Sheets ensuring compliance with hazardous materials guidelines. + Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products. + Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials. + Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. + Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up activities. + Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. + Performs other duties and activities as directed. Basic Qualifications + Must have knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal. + Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. + Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. + Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License with at least Restriction Code 2. + Must have basic knowledge of Maximo and Tablet Preferred Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING: + Painting certification/s is required. EDUCATION: + Must have at least High School diploma, Vocational or Technical course Graduate is required. EXPERIENCE: + Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in painting trades.
