Title:

DG BOSS: Clubs Supervisor

Responsible for supporting the Assistant Manager & Manager in all Club and Food and Beverage

operations.

Responsible for the economic and efficient operation of a full-service restaurant, bar, and lounge of allMWR club outlets such as Turner Club, Reindeer Station, Officer’s Clubs, and Fast-Food outlets.Responsible for supervising employees in multiple areas/facilities to include disciplinary actions.Responsible for finance/cost control in assigned Club such as:

a) Systems and procedure for storage and requisition of FFV, Dry Goods, Beverages, Beer and

Liquor, Supplies, and paper products.

b) Systems and procedures for daily, weekly, and monthly inventory.

c) Responsible for the completion of timely and accurate Sales Reports.

d) Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of Consumption Lists to the Service Desk Clerk

e) Ensures responsible use and accurate tracking of all materials supplied

Supports special events such as command functions, cultural events, balls, Bingo, seasonal activities,

entertainment, and all MWR catering as required.

Creates, proposes, and plans menus for Club activities as well as requests for food, supplies,

equipment, and materials as needed.

Ensure proper use, maintenance, and tracking of all equipment and property.Works with the Warehouse Supervisor and Kitchen Leads to ensure all received products are used and

waste/spoilage is avoided.

Ensures replenishment and freshness of stock and strict adherence to FIFO when pulling or using

stocks.

Conducts training and updates Standard Operating Procedures in all club complexes.Always maintains the highest standards of sanitation in all locations including temperatureControls, labeling and dating prepared items.Performs other management-related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a working knowledge of all activities required.Must have and show the ability to properly supervise a group of personnel.Must have and show the ability to make decisions, and the ability to influence and work with others in

obtaining cooperation and assistance.

Must present a neat, well-groomed appearance always.Knowledge of standard Club Management Food and Beverage procedures and general business

practices related to the operational management of the club facilities and equipment.

Knowledge of Military Club practices and procedures regarding patron entitlements, routine

inspections of the facility, sanitation, hours of operation, employee work schedules, assignments, and

counseling.

Knowledge of local food and beverage reporting practices and procedures to prepare, assemble,

coordinate, and process various activity reports on assigned topics.

Knowledge of extensive administrative methods and practices involved in the operation of Military Club

facilities and food outlets to perform work assignments such as inspection of the facility for

cleanliness, the physical condition of furnishings and equipment, operating conditions of equipment,

and handling of patron complaints, etc.

Knowledge of organizational workload, procedures, and processing of standard food and beverage and

administrative cost controls.

Knowledge of management procedures and general business principles and practices related to the

management and control of a continuing club program.

Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft

Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress environment.Strong communication skills and extremely self-motivated when managing communication channels.Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.

EDUCATION:

An associate Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or related Food and Beverage field or course from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for experience on a 1:1 basis.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have three years of general experience where the candidate has demonstrated his/her knowledge of the goals, principles, methods, techniques of recreation, food, beverage, or entertainment operations and programming.
