DG BOSS: Aircraft Equipment Refueling OperatorResponsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, transfer, and distribution of petroleum-based products, including aviation and ground fuels. This position operates and maintains fuel systems and associated equipment in accordance with industry, military, and environmental standards. The operator ensures accurate documentation of fuel movements, conducts quality control checks, and supports overall fuel mission readiness in support of base or project operations.Roles and Responsibilities
Provide aviation fuel support to ensure quality fuel is available to safely meet fuel service needs in a timely manner to support the air operations mission.Provide aviation fuel operations to include PACAF related fueling/defueling services and ensure quality fuel is available to meet requirements and requests in a safe and timely manner/ensure accurate data is maintained to support the air operations mission.Provide aviation fuel support, fueling services, and ground support operations for authorized aircraft (includes hot fueling), designated vehicles, equipment, and miscellaneous tanks/units on a 24-hour per day, 7 days per week basis.Support aviation fuel support exercises and contingencies.Maintain all aviation fuel support records and documents.Operate fuel servicing vehicles and equipment to refuel fixed-wing and rotary aircraft, as well as ground support equipment.Perform pre-operational checks and routine inspections of fuel trucks, hoses, nozzles, and related fueling components.Conduct fuel quality control tests (e.g., visual checks, API gravity, water detection) to ensure compliance with military, FAA, or ICAO fuel specifications.Monitor fueling operations to prevent spills, overfills, or contamination and respond to emergencies in accordance with established procedures.Accurately record fuel transactions, quantities dispensed, and maintenance activities in fueling logs or automated systems.Communicate effectively with flight crews, maintenance personnel, and ground control to coordinate safe fueling operations.Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of all refueling equipment and vehicles.Follow all safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling regulations and procedures.Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks as required by internal and external regulatory bodies.Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional personnel to support mission and operational goals.Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.Basic Qualifications
Strong understanding of aircraft fueling procedures and aviation turbine fuel (e.g., JP 5, JP 8).Familiarity with fuel truck operation, mobile refueling units, and fixed fueling systems.Strong understanding of environmental, safety, and hazardous material handling protocols.Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and around aircraft noise and fumes.Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion of multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities.Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.Must be contract-oriented and computer literate in Microsoft Office software.Must have a valid country of origin driver's license and be able to operate manual and/or automatic transmission vehicles.Must have completed the Airfield Vehicle Operators Instruction Course (AVOIC) Training and received a license to operate vehicles on the airfield provided by the U.S. government.Requires flexibility to work irregular hours and on-call shifts as needed.Preferred Qualifications

Additional technical training or certifications in fuel handlingAviation Fuel Handler Certification (if applicable)HAZMAT and HAZWOPER certifications are preferred.EDUCATION:
Must be at least a high school, technical, or vocational course graduate; an associate or bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.EXPERIENCE:
At least two (2) years of experience in aircraft or vehicle refueling operations.Experience working on military or government contracts is preferred.
