DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Lead and moderate DFMEA  creation/review meetings.Become subject matter expert (SME) and organization coach of Plato e1ns  DFMEA software platform.Contribute to engineering team problem solving discussions / meetings.Train/ coach engineering teams in proper use of DFMEA tools and methodology.Create / Monitor / Improve DFMEA templates by product line.Review Lessons Learned and validation failures  and update FMEA templates to enhance failure avoidanceSupport the design review and approval processCollaborate closely with Aptiv’s engineering centers and customers to develop DFMEAs as defined by project scopeEstablish and maintain relationships with manufacturing and quality teams to align with DFMEA methodology and templates with PFMEAs and Control PlansSupport internal / external audits; ensuring adherence to customer specific requirements (especially DFMEA & special characteristics) as defined by IATF

 

 

REQUIREMENTS, Competencies/Skills:
