The Opportunity:

As a DevSecOps Intern, you will work in the Cloud Foundations product that consists of 3 teams. The Connectivity team operates in the space of networking, domain name management, and providing secure connections between cloud applications and on-premise solutions. The Secure Account Management team is the backbone of the Cloud and manages the lifecycle and governance of the AWS cloud. Last but not least the Derived Services, provides automation, orchestration, and open source tooling for DevOps engineers using our platform.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of DevOps, DevSecOps, and Software Engineering. You will assist in project work, automating routine tasks, improving system reliability, and supporting security operations.

Participate in automation using industry-standard tools and languages like Terraform, Python, Java, Golang, etc. to support project implementations.

Assist in the evaluation, selection, and configuration of tools, services, and features

Support the integration and monitoring of information security controls.
 

Who you are:

You hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field.

Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field.

Basic understanding of DevOps, Software Engineering, and security concepts.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Centricity around cloud technologies including but not limited to AWS and Cloudflare.

Preferred:

Experience with programming languages such as Python, or Java, or Terraform, or Golang is desirable.

Experience with web application firewalling is desirable

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and any Web application firewall(Cloudflare) is a plus.

Additional Information:

This position is a 12-month work term (full-time) and will begin January 2026.

The position is located in Mississauga, Canada. Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 3 days in the office).

This internship is designed to provide practical experience and mentorship, preparing you for a future career in DevSecOps and cybersecurity within any industry.
