The opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support practice and delivery teams in advancing their DevSecOps maturity and initiatives, contributing directly to the development and implementation of secure, scalable solutions.

Your new role:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining key DevSecOps tools ensuring their smooth operation and providing essential support across delivery teams. Working closely with global partners and business stakeholders, you’ll help drive the adoption of DevSecOps capabilities, uplift engineering practices, and enable continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include

Analyse business requirements to design and implement secure and scalable DevSecOps solutions aligned with modern software development practices.Manage, maintain, and enhance DevOps platforms including Jira, Confluence, Planview, and LaunchDarkly to support delivery teams.Lead discovery, proof-of-concept, and enablement of DevSecOps, automation, and AI tools to improve engineering productivity, team experience, and reduce effort and cost.Develop CI/CD and infrastructure automation pipelines tailored to application technologies and delivery needs.Define and enforce DevSecOps and SDLC best practices, monitor performance through KPIs and metrics, ensure compliance with IT standards, and assess risks and customer impacts.Collaborate with global platform, release, testing, and infrastructure teams to drive adoption of DevSecOps capabilities, support releases, manage budgets, and mentor junior engineers.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development, secure coding practices, and automation. Skilled in cloud platforms, containerisation, and infrastructure as code, while demonstrating the ability to collaborate across teams, lead initiatives, and drive continuous improvement through metrics and compliance.

You will also have:

Proven experience with industry-standard DevSecOps processes, architecture principles, tools, and technologies.Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through design documentation and code.Skilled in analysing, designing, implementing, and optimising DevOps solutions for CI/CD.Hands-on programming or scripting experience with languages such as Java, Python, Shell, or PowerShell.Proficiency in Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, application security, and code quality tools.Preferred experience includes end-to-end DevSecOps implementation, centralised feature flag management, AI/GenAI/ML and AIOps solutions, along with knowledge of SDLC, Agile, SAFe, integration, and automation.
