Responsibilities
Guides the successful completion of major engineering programs may function in a project leadership roleDevelops advanced solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problemsPerform advanced systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the endProvides and applies advanced engineering to highly complex infrastructures including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management toolsProvides and applies advanced engineering skills to highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysisPerforms continual maintenance and provides advanced solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problemsPrepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projectsMaintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processesPerforms complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, model formulation, computer architecture analysis and design, and digital systems engineeringInvents innovative ways to drive production operational efficiencyDrives scalability and operability of supported systems/infrastructureImplements, manages, and enhances Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline toolsCreates, maintains, and reviews Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Desired State Configuration (DSC) and/or Puppet configuration management tools to support the provisioning infrastructureProvides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidanceCoaches and provides guidance to less-experienced professionalsRequired SkillsExpert in writing guidelines and standardsExpert in managing and configuring enterprise toolsExpert in maintaining and monitoring systems for improvementExpert in integrating various tools to createExpert in containerization and container orchestration such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.Expert in source code management through GitExperience working in lean-agile environmentsPreferred Skills
Competency with work management and collaboration tools such as Jira and ConfluenceProficient with AWS and Azure cloud environments, Gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOpsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or commensurate level of experience. Additional experience in lieu of formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
TESA Accreditation Requirements
A bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience,
OR; An associate's degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience,
OR; A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience,
OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience
Security Clearance Level: Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
