Overview
Dynamic Yield by MasterCard is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to secure and automate our cloud environments. In this role, you’ll ensure our production environment meets top security standards while integrating cutting-edge technologies. You'll implement security initiatives, drive automation in CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development and operations teams. Your expertise in AWS security services and DevSecOps practices will be crucial for enhancing our cloud security and managing incident response

Role
•\tCollaborate with a dynamic team of DevSecOps professionals to enhance and maintain robust platform security.
•\tAssist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of comprehensive security solutions to protect our systems and data.
•\tContribute to the development and deployment of advanced solutions to automate security tool integration and enhance overall security posture.
•\tHelp implement robust information security controls and patterns to support risk assessments and the creation of secure architectures.
•\tCollaborate with Product & Data Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams to define and execute security strategies and initiatives.
•\tParticipate in efforts to establish and enforce security best practices and standards across the development lifecycle.
•\tEngage in learning opportunities and seek guidance from team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Optimal Skills for Success
•\tApproximately 3 years of experience in a DevOps/DevSecOps role, with a strong focus on live production systems.
•\tA degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or relevant military experience. Self-taught hackers with a strong track record are also encouraged to apply.
•\tProven experience in cloud security principles, securing and managing production environments on AWS.
•\tProficiency in one or more of the following languages: Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python.
•\tExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
•\tHands-on experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
•\tFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker Compose.
•\tExperience with monitoring and log analytics tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or EFK stack.
•\tStrong ability to collaborate with development, DevOps, NOC, support, and QA teams.
•\tDemonstrated ability to lead projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities.
