UST’s DevOps Practice is seeking a highly skilled DevOps & SRE Technical Manager to lead and deliver transformation programs for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, along with proven experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight.
This role demands a strong leader who can combine technical excellence with business acumen, driving large-scale initiatives that optimize development, deployment, and operational workflows for client organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of DevOps and SRE transformation programs for enterprise clients.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, milestones, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals and budget.
Provide strategic guidance and technical oversight to project teams, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.
Oversee program budgets and financials, driving margin improvement initiatives where required.
Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies proactively.
Foster strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and accountability.
Establish and monitor program KPIs and performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging the adoption of emerging tools, methodologies, and technologies in DevOps and SRE.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
15+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record of managing high-impact DevOps and SRE transformation programs.
Strong expertise in program management (planning, execution, risk management, and financial governance).
In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Familiarity with SRE practices – monitoring, incident management, service reliability, and operational excellence.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on results.
Preferred Certifications: PMP/PgMP, ITIL, Agile/Scrum Master, or relevant technical certifications in DevOps/SRE.
