Primarily responsible for integrating the project's technical requirements across the products life cycle, build planning, building, testing, and release to live. As a DevOps Lead Engineer, you must be conversant with technical as well as architecture best practices. Core competency in AWS/Azure/GCP architecture and Terraform CI/CD pipelines is essential. **Key focus areas are:** 1. Validate Solution outline provided by vendors / partners 2. Contribute to both HLD – LLD production of artifacts 3. Review current CI /CD pipeline and ensure best practice is adopted 4. Validate Automated test strategy and implementation ( UAT / NFR / FT / SIT ) 5. Capable of building multi-cloud ecosystem ( Azure – AWS – GCP ) 6. Technical Dependency Management ( build right things at the right time ) 7. Build End to End Integrated test and validation strategy 8. Collaborate with 3rd party vendors / partners to ensure a cohesive system design is implemented 9. Review existing architecture, highlighting technical debt and identifying opportunities to refactor / improve debt position. 10. Collaborate with Center Cloud of Excellence to ensure technical success is delivered **Education and experience** + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications would be a plus. + Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture or infrastructure role + Proven experience with Azure services, with AWS and GCP an advantage + Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. + Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks + Familiarity with Gitlab CI/CD tools and experience integrating them with Azure/AWS + Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as native cloud tools or third-party tools + Cybersecurity Expertise: + Understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and frameworks. + Knowledge of encryption, identity management, access controls, and other security measures within cloud environments. + Certifications such as Azure/AWS/GCP Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified SysOps Administrator, Certified Solutions Architect **Skills and behavioral competencies** + Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities + Result orientation, influence & impact + Empowerment & accountability with the ability to work independently + Team spirit, building relationships, collective accountability + Excellent oral and written communication skills for documenting and sharing information with technical and non-technical stakeholders **Language skills** Fluent English **What’s in it for the candidate** + Be part of a highly motivated team of explorers + Help make a difference and thrive in Cloud and AI technology + Chart your own course and build a fantastic career + Have fun and enjoy life with an industry leading remuneration pack About us + Syensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
