Role Description

Lead our newly established Cloud Center of Excellence team to standardize infrastructure as code workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and central services across our 500-600 engineer organization. Drive both strategic direction and hands-on implementation as we scale our multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of cloud infrastructure engineersDefine and implement infrastructure as code standards and best practicesEstablish enterprise-wide CI/CD pipeline frameworksDesign and maintain central monitoring and observability solutionsDrive cloud adoption strategies and governance frameworksCollaborate with engineering teams to optimize cloud resource utilization

Hard Skills Required

Infrastructure as Code: Expert-level Terraform experience (5+ years)Cloud Platforms: Advanced AWS knowledge, working GCP experienceCI/CD: GitLab CI/CD pipeline design and optimizationMonitoring: Datadog implementation and configurationScripting: Python, Bash, or Go for automationContainerization: Docker, Kubernetes experience preferredNetworking: VPC, security groups, load balancers, DNSSecurity: Cloud security best practices, IAM, compliance frameworks

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

Expected Certification:

AWS Solutions Architect Professional

Preferred Certifications:

Google Cloud Professional Cloud ArchitectHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or ProfessionalCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
