DevOps Engineer with Java

 

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with Java to join our team and help us build and maintain robust infrastructure and backend systems. You’ll work on modern CI/CD pipelines, support our production environments, and contribute to the development of microservice-based applications.

 

 

What will you do

 

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Configure and manage Jenkins deployments. Develop Helm charts and deploy applications to Kubernetes. Support and improve deployment strategies (canary, blue-green). Ensure observability and monitoring using tools like Grafana, Loki, Mimir, or Alloy. Automate tasks and scripts using Linux shell. Work with Git and version control systems. Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Framework. Contribute to backend development with a focus on performance and concurrency. Participate in on-call/stand-by support (5 PM–12 AM), shared on rotation with the team.

 

 

Your skills

 

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Proficiency in Jenkins configuration and deployment management. Experience with Helm and Kubernetes basics. Understanding of deployment strategies: canary, blue-green. Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Alloy). Strong skills in Linux shell scripting and automation. Solid experience with Git and version control workflows. Proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Framework (Context, DI, IoC). Familiarity with Maven and microservices architecture. Understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java.

 

 

Nice to have

 

Experience with unit and integration testing (e.g., Mockito). Knowledge of event-driven architecture and message brokers. Awareness of application security best practices in production environments. Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Alertmanager, Elastic Stack.
